• Do not spray aerosols near the sensor.
• The semiconductor has a lifespan of up to 5
years. Please replace it after this period.
• Through use, grease and dust could be
deposited on the housing of the gas sensor,
which affects the detection sensitivity.
We recommend that you periodically and
carefully clean the housing of the sensor so
that water does not get inside the device.
• The sensor detects methane gas (CH4), it
does not detect carbon monoxide (CO),
smoke or other gases.
Installation
Methane gas is lighter than air, therefore,
install the gas sensor at a distance of 0.3 m - 1
m below the ceiling and at a distance of 1.5 m
from the gas source.
