Precautions
Points to observe for safe usage
Read this manual carefully before using this item and its components.
They contain instructions on how to use this product in a safe and
effective manner. Caliber Europe BV cannot be responsible for problems
resulting from failure to observe the instructions in this manual.
Turn off the device immediately in case of a problem.
Failure to do so may cause personal injury or damage to the product.
Return it to your authorized Caliber Europe BV dealer for repairing.
Product cleaning.
Use a soft dry cloth for periodic cleaning of the product. For more
severe stains, please dampen the cloth with water only. Anything else
has the chance of dissolving the paint or damaging the plastic.
Temperature.
Ensure that the ambient temperature is between 0°C and +45°C
before turning on the device.
Below the descriptions of the features/options of the HFG 411BT. The numbers between the "(...)" refer to the key or
connections on the unit. The illustrations can be found in the front of this manual.
Connecting the unit
Use the provided power cord and stick the euro plug into a 100-240VAC wall socket and the other end into the power input of
the unit (12).
Power ON/OFF (5)
• ON:
Turn [ON/OFF] button to ON
• AUTO :
Turn off after 9 minutes no signal, press the [wake] (7) button to activate
• OFF:
Turn [ON/OFF] button to OFF
Bluetooth connection
• Turn ON the speaker.
• The speaker is automatically in Bluetooth mode.
• Set your Bluetooth device to 'Search' using the devices' Bluetooth menu.
• Choose 'HFG411BT_CALIBER' from the list.
• When the devices are paired successfully, a sound will be heard and the Bluetooth indication LED will be ON.
• You're ready to start playing music on your device.
• If your device supports A2DP you can use the buttons on the HFG to control the playback.
Notes:
- There can only be one device connected to the HFG at the same time.
- The sound is muted when there is an incoming call via a connected mobile phone. Use the phone to answer the call.
Playing from USB
• Turn ON the speaker.
• Insert a USB with MP3 files or WMA files in the slot (1), the unit will automatically switch to USB mode and starts playing.
Use the buttons [ 12 / 7 / 8 ] on the unit to control the playback.
Connecting by AUX-in
• Turn ON the speaker.
• Use the provided 3.5mm Jack-to-Jack cable or another cable with a 3.5mm Jack plug to connect an external device to
the AUX-in (2).
• The HFG will go into AUX mode automatically.
• To control the playback, use the controls on your external device.
Maintenance.
If you have problems, do not attempt to repair the unit yourself.
Return it to your Caliber Europe BV dealer for servicing.
Placement.
Place the product on a flat surface. Provide enough space
around the product for sufficient ventilation.
Usage.
Keep the product away from humidity and/or water (or other liquid).
Do not locate the appliance in the vicinity of a heat surface or in
direct sunlight.
Voltage.
Check the main voltage indicated on the adapter/product rating
label in accordance to the local electricity supply, if it doesn't,
return the product to the store where you bought it.
Plug.
Remove the plug from the outlet, when the product is unused
for a long period of time and during thunderstorms.
Accessories.
Use only supplied accessories.
