1. Introduction
DEBFLO and DEBPLUS are medical devices that regulate the flow of a gas. They connect to a wall-mounted source
of pressurised gas or to a rapid outlet of a pressure regulator.
User profile:
Users are medical staff: doctors, nurses.
2. Versions
DEBFLO and DEBPLUS are available in the following versions:

US Ohmeda Diamond - NORDIC - UNI, etc.

Direct connection or rail mounted (hose + crimped hose holder end cap + rail clamp).

3. Technical characteristics

Supply pressure: 4.5 bar ± 0.5 bar (for DEBFLO); 2.8 to 8 bar (for DEBPLUS).

DEBPLUS outlet pressure: 2.2 bar max.

Accuracy of the measured values: ± 30% ≤ 1.5 l/min; ± 20% > 1.5 l/min.

4. Method of use

Check whether the device is in good condition.
-
Ensure that the flow rate is set to 0.
-
Connect the device to the wall-mounted outlet or to the rapid outlet of a pressure regulator.

Screw in a humidifier if required, or a nipple so that the oxygen tubing can be connected to it.

Turn the regulation knob on the front side to the left until the desired flow rate is displayed.

Attach the tubing to the patient as the last step.

For disconnecting: shut the flowmeter (0 l/min position), remove the tubing from the patient, disconnect the
humidifier if necessary, and then disconnect the flowmeter from the wall-mounted outlet or from the rapid outlet of
the pressure regulator.
5. Symbols
Do not use any grease, lubricant or oil.
