Connecting the external antenna
We recommend connecting VHF/UHF antennas for
better picture quality. You can receive cable TV by
connecting a cable supplied by your local cable
company.
Before connecting VHF/UHF antennas, remove the
telescopic antenna from the EXT ANT terminal on the
TV.
Prepare the antenna end according to your cable type.

picture when viewing cable TV channels over 37 (W+1).
Note to CATV system installer in the U.S.A.:
This reminder is provided to call the CATV system installer's
attention to Article 820-40 of the NEC that provides guidelines
for proper grounding and, in particular, specifies that the cable
ground shall be connected to the grounding system of the
building, as close to the point of cable entry as practical.
