1. This device is designed as a "weighing scale" for
domestic use; any other use is considered unsuitable
and therefore hazardous. The manufacturer takes no
responsibility for any damage caused by improper, wrong or
irrational use of the device.
2. This product is not a toy. Keep out of reach of children.
Do not let children play with the device. It must NOT be
used by children, people with impaired physical, sensory
or mental capabilities or people with learning difficulties,
unless they are supervised or have been properly informed
about how to handle the product correctly and they are
aware of the potential hazards. It must be used, cleaned and
maintained by an adult.
3. Never leave the baby unattended during measuring.
4. The scale is powered by two AAA batteries.
5. The batteries must be inserted by an adult.
6. Do not short-circuit the battery terminals.
7. Place the product on a stable, flat surface.
8. To clean the scale, use a soft cleaning cloth, moistened
with a little water if necessary.
9. For cleaning and maintenance of the mat, follow the
washing instructions on the label.
10. Do not use aggressive or abrasive detergents or
solvents. Do not use chemical solutions.
11. After removing the scale from its packaging, make sure it
is intact and there is no visible damage. Keep the packaging
out of the reach of children. If in doubt, do not use it and
contact the manufacturer or distributor.
12. Certain basic rules must be observed when using any
electrical device:
- Do not expose the device to atmospheric conditions
such as rain, sun, etc. This scale is for indoor use only.
- Keep the device away from heat sources.
- Do not touch the device with wet or damp hands.
- Do not place or use the product in damp places.
- Do not knock the product and avoid dropping or
damaging the product when moving it, as it contains high-
precision electronic parts.
- Do not use a chemical solution to clean the product.
- Do not touch the device if it has fallen in water.
- Do not use it again until you have contacted the
manufacturer, distributor or authorised repair centre.
13. This scale can measure weights between 50 g and 100
kg. Do not use it if the weighing capacity is exceeded.
14. The scale is not suitable for use in environments where
flammable gases and/or anaesthetics are present, as it
could cause explosions.
15. Do not throw the scale on a fire, as it could explode.
16. Avoid the scale coming into contact with any liquid.
17. If the scale is not going to be used for a long time, it is
advisable to remove the batteries.
