Intended use
The IRC-Connect is designed to enable the wireless commu-
nication between a remote device and a torque or torque/angle
transducer.
This tool is intended to be used with the following products.
No other use permitted.

Product Specific Instructions
Electrostatic discharges
The product components are electrostatic sen-
sitive devices; DO NOT touch any electrical
contact to avoid risk of module damages. To
avoid electrostatic discharges, touch a metal-
lic object before handling any module.
Service and Maintenance
Maintenance recommendations
The tool should be calibrated regularly once a year.
Replace the battery in case of any sign of malfunctioning and/
or overheat.
NOTICE: Use only batteries supplied by Atlas Copco.
Preventing ESD Problems
The components inside the product and controller are sensi-
tive to electrostatic discharge. To avoid future malfunction,
make sure that service and maintenance is carried out in an
ESD approved work environment. The figure below shows an
example of an appropriate service work station.
