The following rule applies: length of grounding post + length of second grounding post =
min. distance between these two grounding posts (e.g.: grounding post 1 (0.75 m) + grounding
post 2 (1.5 m) = min. 2.25 m distance between the two grounding posts)

FENCE INSTALLATION
In addition to correct grounding, you also require suitable conductor material and insulators
to construct the ideal electric fence. Conducting material has low electrical resistance, which
allows the current to flow better. Insulators have a high electrical resistance and are used to hold
or guide the conductor material.
Ask us for advice to find out which products are suitable for your purposes.
Observe the following points to ensure better conductivity in your fencing system:
∙
Always keep your electric fence system free from vegetation. Do not run your fence through
hedges and prevent any branches or bushes from completing the circuit. Vegetation will
reduce the voltage of your fence and the shock strength of the electrical pulse may no longer
be powerful enough.
∙
Ensure that the conducting material in your fence does not touch the ground, e.g. by sagging.
∙
Only use fence posts with insulators so as to insulate the conducting material from the post and
the ground. This will prevent any loss of voltage and ensure the desired current flows through
the conducting material of the fence.

It is not necessary to create a closed fence system. The fence can end at any point.
