Safety instructions:
To get the most out of your new appliance, please read these instructions and the enclosed
safety rules before using it. Also keep the instruction manual in case you need to be
reminded of the appliance's functions at a later date.
Important
Before connecting the appliance to the mains, check by visual inspection that it is
undamaged and has not been damaged in transit. Read all instructions before using the
appliance.
1. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
2. This appliance may be used by children aged 8 and over and by persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience or knowledge, provided
that they have been supervised or instructed in the safe use of the appliance and that
they understand the risks involved.
3. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance should not be
carried out by children without supervision.
4. Children under the age of 3 should be kept away, unless they are supervised at all
times.
5. Children aged between 3 and 8 years may only switch the appliance on or off if it has
been placed or installed in its normal operating position and if they have been
supervised or have received instructions on how to use the appliance safely and if they
understand the risks involved.
6. Children aged between 3 and 8 must not connect, adjust or clean the appliance or carry
out user maintenance.
CAUTION – Some parts of this product can become very hot and cause burns.
Particular attention has to be given where children and vulnerable people are
present.
7. Only connect the appliance to a single-phase socket outlet whose voltage corresponds
to that indicated on the rating plate.
8. Always use the appliance in an upright position.
9. Always keep the device unplugged while not in use.
10. Do not leave your home when the appliance is in operation: make sure the switch is in
the OFF (0) position and unplug the appliance before leaving.
