Connecting the Antenna
ANT24-0501 is a 5dBi indoor range extender antenna,
which can increase effective range and improve
throughput of wireless network for not only 802.11b but
802.11g devices. It works with AP/ Routers to boost
high-speed wireless signal in omni 360 degree coverage
and provides extended point to multi-point coverage.
The range extended antenna can work on all wireless
networking devices equipped with RP SMA or RP
TNC connector that makes you use without barrier.
The ANT24-0501 also includes an RP-SMA to RP-TNC adapter
for attaching the ANT24-0501 to products with a RP-TNC
connector.
Installing the ANT24-0501
A. Simply remove the default antenna from device such as AP or Router
and replace it with ANT24-0501.
B. Identify an optimal location for the antenna. The antenna can be
placed on a fl at surface such as desk, mounted on the wall or use
magnetic mounting method to places such as partition or attach on the
device directly.
C. Adjust the angle of the antenna to a right angle, which can attain better
signal transmission and a larger coverage area.
