OPERATION
Switching On/Off
The hedge trimmer has two switches controls and a lock-
off button to be used together to prevent an accidental
star-up:
NOTE! The switch trigger located beneath the rear handle,
the trigger switch located onto the auxiliary handle and the
lock-off button, located behind the auxiliary handle, must
be depressed simultaneously to allow blade rotation.
1. Place one hand on the rear handle.
2. Place the other hand on the auxiliary handle.
3. Push the lock-OFF button and hold.
4.
5. Squeeze the trigger switches on the rear and on the
auxiliary handle, the hedge trimmer will turn ON.
6. Release the lock-OFF button. The hedge trimmer will
stay on as long as the two triggers are squeezed ON.
7. The hedge trimmer will stop if you release either the
trigger handle on the rear or auxiliary handle.
NOTE! If the hedge trimmer is accidentally dropped, the
hedge trimmer will turn OFF and the blade will coast to a
stop after several seconds. The hedge trimmer will then be
locked OFF again.
