Question/Problem - Cause

Cause

The motor does not start:

• The battery is not fitted;

• "ON/OFF" switch electrical contacts are not in good

condition or it does not work;

• Rotor or stator windings are damaged;

• Short-circuited rotor windings;

The ON/OFF switch is locked:

• The "ON/OFF" switch lock-on button is not pressed;

Poor cutting performance:

• The blades are dull;

• The blades are mounted upside down;

• Too much pressure applied on the planer;

• The cutting speed is not adjusted to the type of

workpiece material;

Solution

• Replace or recharge;

• Repair or replace the switch;

• Call technical assistance;

• Press the ON/OFF switch lock-on button;

• Sharpen the blades;

• Ensure that the blades are installed correctly;

• Decrease the pressure on the planer;

• Adjust the speed according to workpiece material;
