Connecting USB Devices
(1) . Prepare the accessory USB cord provided.
For dual connection, prepare a commercially available USB cord.
(2) . Connect the USB connector {Series A) to the computer A or B.
(3) . Connect the USB connector (Series B) to the USB Upstream port

ot the main unit.
(4) . Connect the cord of the USB device being used to the USB Downstream port (

main unit.
Notice: Before useing the USB, read the Operating Instructions of the USB devices carefully.

• Enumerate the USB hub or USB device.
• Install the software driver of the USB device.
• Whenever the USB cord has been unplugged and then later plugged in, or when switching
the USB Upstream, check to make sure that the enumeration routine has been successfully
completed. If the enumeration routine has not executed successfully, the USB and / or the
computer may not function correctly.
