8.2 BATTERY ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTION
Procedure
PORTABLE GENERATOR
Some of the units, which are of the electrical starting type, need to be equipped with
external storage battery bracket. Please conduct the installation according to the
following drawing.
Perform the procedure below when installing the battery.
1.
Install the positive terminal (a) and the negative terminal (b) to the generator unit.
2.
Mount the storage battery (c) to the generator bracket.
3.
Lock the storage battery with battery bracket (d) and tighten the bolts (e) to install
the the battery properly.
NOTE: Connect the storage battery wires and connect the negative one first. The
connected terminals may be different as the models of the storage batteries are different.
Some storage batteries need to be filled with electrolyte before installation. Please read
the specification of the storage battery
carefully.
