10. COMMISSIONING OF THE DEVICE
The commissioning of the device requires the sending of configurations to the device via the Ethernet connection. For this purpose,
a PC equipped with a network card and connected to the COMPACT, either via a switch or directly via a network cable, is required.
The PC must have the Call Point or Call Point Configurator software installed on it.
1. Insert the battery (see section ¡Error! No se encuentra el origen de la referencia.) and insert the cards required for the installation
into the COMPACT (see section 6. INSERTING THE CARDS).
2. Make the connections between the devices.
3. Turn on the power supply to the devices.
4. Configure the parameters of the COMPACT matrix and the cards it contains using the Call Point or Call Point Configurator software
and send the settings to the device.
ATTENTION. In order to be able to send configurations to the device, it is necessary that the device and the PC are within
the same IP address range. It is also necessary that the network addresses of the device and those set from the
configuration software match.
By default, the device's network configurations are as follows:
IP ADDRESS:
NETMASK:
GATETEWAY: 0.0.0.0 (without Gateway)
If you wish to assign a different network address to the unit than the default one, follow the next section 10.1.
