6.2. FRUIT
Pineapples that are to be processed in the machine must be vis-
ually inspected before they are inserted, and any labels or foreign
bodies must be removed.
6.3. GLOVES
The safety gloves supplied with the machine must be worn before
starting to clean the machine.
These gloves have a useful life of 2 years, and they should be re-
placed once this period has elapsed. Furthermore, if you notice
any deterioration of the gloves, you should replace them.
New gloves must be highly resistant to cutting, in accordance with
the standard ISO 13997.
6.4. CLEANING
The cutting and processing zone should be cleaned every day.
Cleaning products containing chlorine must not be used.
Follow the cleaning instructions described by Zummo exactly.

Disassembling the machine
Follow these instructions to properly disassemble the parts:

When the machine is stopped, switch off the power switch (Fig.
3).
·
Unplug the machine from the socket and then open the door.
·
Turn the latches to the right (Fig. 8).
·
Put the safety gloves on. See chapter 6.3. GLOVES.
·
BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THE BLADES, they are extremely
sharp and you may cut yourself. Fit the blade protectors to the
blades for greater safety when cleaning (Fig. 1).
·
Unscrew the centring handle and remove the adjustable blade
(Fig. 9).
·
Pull the pineapple supplement out horizontally (Fig. 10). See
chapter 6.5 TIPS FOR USE.
·
Pull the front part of the drip tray upwards and remove it (Fig.
11). Then remove the bowl (Fig. 12).
·
Unscrew the tray securing nut and remove the cutting tray by
pulling it out horizontally (Fig. 13). BE VERY CAREFUL WITH
THE BLADE, it is extremely sharp and you may cut yourself.
·
Unscrew the supporting nut (Fig. 14). Use one hand to raise
the pusher, and the other to remove the peeling blade (Fig.
A soft cloth moistened in
a neutral soapy solution.
WARNING! NEVER clean these
parts with abrasive products.
Use a disinfectant suitable
for food items (e.g. based
on hydrogen peroxide at a
concentration of 3-6%).
Check that all the parts are
intact.
