If the unit is plugged into a power strip or extension cord, the unit may not
operate properly due to voltage limitations that some extensions have and
/ or devices already connected. This unit should therefore be used on a
wall outlet directly or connected to a quality extension cord that can handle
a voltage of at least 2500W.

During its first use, the device may produce a slight smoke. This is a
normal phenomenon and will disappear after a few uses.
