Operating Instructions
Select the proper probe and insert probe plug into the probe jack of the digital thermometer.
Match the + and - on the plug and instrument. One prong is larger than the other, so it will only
fit one way. Do not force the plug in.
Turn the thermometer ON, pressing the button labeled
Press the F / C button to select Fahrenheit or Celsius Temperature scale. Auto-off features
turns instrument off after 10 minutes of keypad inactivity to conserve battery life.
Battery Replacement
A battery icon will appear on the display when it is time to replace the batteries. Typical battery
life is 4500 hours. When the batteries are completely depleted, the display will show "bAtt"
and will shut off and not operate until the batteries are replaced. Install 3 AAA alkaline batteries,
ensuring the correct polarity is indicated by the battery markings + and - inside the battery
compartment.
1. Remove the battery access hatch from the back of the thermometer (see Fig.2).
2. Remove the (3) AAA alkaline batteries.
3. Replace with new batteries, matching the + and - markings located inside the battery
compartment.
4. Replace the battery access hatch.

DAMAGE TO THE INSTRUMENT.
