IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should
always be followed including the following:
1. Read all instructions prior to first use.
2. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs only.
3. To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plugs, or
coffee machine in water or other liquids.
4. Keep the coffee machine out of reach from children. Do not let them
use the coffee machine without supervision.
5. This coffee machine is not intended for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack
of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible
for their safety.
6. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with
the coffee machine.
7. Unplug the coffee machine from outlet when not in use and before
cleaning. Allow to cool before placing on or taking off parts, and before
cleaning.
8. Do not operate the coffee machine with a damaged cord or plug,
or after the appliance malfunctions, or it has been damaged in any
manner. Return coffee machine to the nearest authorized service
facility for examination, repair or adjustment.
9. The use of accessory attachments not recommended by Haden may
result in fire, electric shock or injury to persons.
10. Do not use outdoors. Indoor use & Household use only.
11. Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or counter or to
touch hot surfaces.
12. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
13. To disconnect, turn any control to the off position, then remove
plug from wall outlet.
14. Do not use this coffee machine for other than intended use.
15. Scalding may occur if the lid is removed during the brewing cycles.
