Connect with Mi Home/Xiaomi Home App
Scan the QR code to download and install the app. You will
be directed to the connection setup page if the app is
installed already. Or search "Mi Home/Xiaomi Home" in the
app store to download and install it. Open Mi Home/Xiaomi
Home app, tap "+" on the upper right, and then follow
prompts to add your device. Tap the top right corner to
scan the QR code again to add Mi Robot Vacuum-Mop
Essential. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete
the connection.
* The app is referred to as Xiaomi Home app in Europe (except for Russia). The
name of the app displayed on your device shouldbe taken as the default.
Note: The version of the app might have been updated, please follow the
instructions based on the current app version.
Note: Illustrations of product, accessories, and user interface in the user manual
are for reference purposes only. Actual product and functions may vary due to
product enhancements.
Start Cleaning
Press the bu on , the vacuum-mop starts cleaning in the S-shape
pa ern. A er completing the cleaning for all areas, the vacuum-mop
cleans along edges and walls then returns back to the charging dock for
recharging. During a cleaning task, the vacuum-mop, in connection with a
network and not in Do Not Disturb mode, will automatically return to the
charging dock to recharge if it starts running low ba ery, and will resume
cleanup where it le off once the ba ery level reaches 80%.
* During a cleaning task, the vacuum-mop enters and exits the rooms,
and confirms the boundary of the room and furniture by touching it. This
is normal and does not affect the cleaning efficiency.
Note: Before a cleaning task, fully charge the vacuum-mop. When
cleaning, make sure it starts from the charging dock. Do not move the
vacuum-mop during its cleaning.

Vacuuming Mode
Turn on the vacuum-mop. It is now ready to start cleaning.
Vacuuming & Mopping Mode
1. Open the lid and fill up the tank, then rea ach the lid. Insert the
2-in-1 dust compartment with water tank into the vacuum-mop.
2. Slide the assembled mop pad holder into the bo om of the vacuum-mop
levelly in the direction shown.
3. Turn on the vacuum-mop. It is now ready to start vacuuming and
mopping.
Note: If the mop pad holder is not installed, only vacuuming mode will
be used.
Note: To avoid giving off an unpleasant smell, clean the 2-in-1 dust
compartment with water tank in time when the vacuum-mop completes
its cleaning task.
