Do not use with a helpless person,
an infant or a person insensitive
to heat.
Please consult your doctor before
using this Prometeus Heated Vest
if you have problems sensing hot
or cold objects (e.g., diabetics,
disabled persons, Raynaud's, etc.).
This Prometeus Heated Vest is not
suited for children or for people
with the inability to sense heat on
the skin (e.g. a metabolic disorder
commonly associated with
diabetes).
People with a heart pacemaker,
metal implants or insulin pump
should first consult with their
doctor before using the Prometeus
Heated Vest.
Excessive heat levels over pro-
longed periods can lead to burns.
Check the device regularly for

signs of wear or damage. If you
notice any of these signs, if the
device was used improperly or if
the device does not work, bring
it back to the dealer before using
it again.
Not suitable for children under the
age of 36 months.
Children may only use the
Prometeus Heated Vest under the
supervision of an adult.
Children should be supervised to
ensure that they are not using the
Prometeus Heated Vest as a toy.
Not intended to be used to warm
animals.
Only use the supplied charger to
charge the device. It is designed
for indoor use and must not be
exposed to humidity.
Do not wear the Prometeus
Heated Vest during the charging
process.
Do not insert any metal or other
objects into sockets or plugs
because this can damage the
Prometeus Heated Vest.
If the charging cables or any other
parts of the Prometeus Heated
Vest are damaged, discontinue the
use of the Prometeus Heated Vest.
Do not modify the product or
divert it from its intended use.
Not intended for medical use in
hospitals.
Avoid kinking the Prometeus
Heated Vest by placing another
object on top of it during storage.
Never use if inner liner is wet.
It is not recommended to use the
Prometeus Heated Vest with an
avalanche transceiver.
The Prometeus Heated Vest must
only be operated with the supplied
battery.
Do not sleep with your Prometeus
Heated Vest while it is still
switched on.
Examine the Prometeus Heated
Vest frequently. Return to the
supplier if has been misused.
If the temperature sensors are
damaged, return the garment
to your local dealer prior to any
further use.
HOW TO USE THE
PROMETEUS HEATED
VEST
FIRST USE AND CHARGING
THE BATTERIES
Important note: charge the
batteries prior to first use.
1 Plug the charger into the wall
and connect the cable to the
batteries. When charging, the
light on the charger will turn RED.
2 Once the batteries are fully
charged, the charging process
automatically ends and the
charge indicator changes
back to GREEN. Please
disconnect the batteries
from the charger.
3 Open the inside pocket
of the Prometeus Heated
Vest and plug the battery to the
connector.
Batteries cannot be charged
when connected to the
Prometeus Heated Vest.
IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
FOR USE
Check to make sure that the
batteries are properly connected
with your Prometeus Heated Vest
(plug locked into place).
Always set your Prometeus
Heated Vest to your initial
reference temperature to maintain
a comfortable temperature.
TURN PROMETEUS HEATED
VEST ON/OFF:
To turn your Prometeus Heated
Vest on/off, simply connect/
disconnect the batteries.
DOUBLE TAP FUNCTION
On your Prometeus Heated Vest,
simply double tap the clim8®
module with two fingers. The LED
color will change accordingly to the
active mode.
