The FireCone fire pit comprises the following parts:

Fire lighting
When lighting a fire in your fire pit, take care to use dry, untreated wood and do
not overfill it. Hardwoods like birch, beech, ash, elm and oak are all ideal to use as
kindling. Stack kindling in the middle of the fire pit, criss-crossing it as for a bonfire
or campfire. If needed, use newspaper as tinder or a few firelighters in the middle
of the stacked firewood to get the fire started.
Cleaning and maintenance
The cold ashes from the burnt-out fire can be bagged for disposal in household
garden waste collections, if this service is offered in your area, or taken to a
recycling centre and recycled with garden waste, added to your composting bin or
used as a soil fertiliser. The ashes should always be left to cool for 24-48 hours
before disposal in a waste collection bin, as they may otherwise contain embers
that could ignite other waste or the bin liner. Ensure therefore that the fire pit and
ashes are cold before removing the ashes and cleaning the fire pit. Wash the fire
pit in hot water and mild detergent. Use a soft cleaning brush for this. Next, rinse
thoroughly in clean water and wipe the fire pit dry. Remember to clean the fire
pit thoroughly to preserve its matt black appearance and prevent rust. The fire pit
surface will be damaged if sharp implements or abrasive cleaning agents are used
for cleaning.
Warranty
The warranty covers corrosion provided that the fire pit has been assembled and
used in accordance with the printed instructions accompanying the product. Eva
Solo A/S is entitled to demand reasonable proof of your date of purchase. You
should therefore retain your purchase receipt or invoice. This limited warranty
is limited to the repair or replacement of parts which are found to be defective
following normal use and service, and which, following detailed inspection, are
found to be defective by Eva Solo A/S. Before returning any parts, contact the
retailer from which the product was purchased. If Eva Solo A/S confirms the defect
and approves your claim, Eva Solo A/S will replace such parts free of charge.
If it is necessary to return defective parts, shipping costs must be paid in advance.
Eva Solo A/S will then return the part(s) to the consumer with pre-paid freight or
stamps. This limited warranty does not cover malfunction or problems operating
the fire pit due to accidents, maltreatment, misuse, modification, incorrect use,
vandalism, incorrect installation, maintenance and service or if normal and routine
maintenance has not been performed. This limited warranty does not cover
deterioration or damage as a result of extreme external events such as hailstorms,
storms, hurricanes or earthquake, nor discolouration resulting from contact with
chemicals, either directly or airborne. No other express warranties apply, except
as specified herein, and any applicable, implied warranties of merchantability and
eligibility are limited to the period of cover of this explicit, written, limited warranty.
Eva Solo A/S accepts no liability whatsoever for special indirect or consequential
damage. Eva Solo A/S does not authorise any person or enterprise on its behalf to
assume any other obligation or liability in connection with the sale, installation, use,
removal, return or replacement of its equipment, and no such representations are
binding on Eva Solo A/S. This warranty applies only to products sold by retailers.
