Lighting Charcoal:
Charcoal can be started in charcoal
starter chimney or directly in grill.

To start in grill, remove the cooking
grate and damper. Pile at least 40
charcoal briquettes in the middle of
the charcoal grate with a crumpled
piece of paper under the grate.
Sprinkle lighter fluid on top of the
briquettes. Using a long match,
light the paper. Allow the charcoal
to get started (approximately 10
minutes) then spread out evenly on
charcoal grate.

cooking grate and damper. The
damper (image 1) can be used
to adjust the air flow. The door

more charcoal for additional
heat.
