• Wash all accessories in lukewarm water with normal dish soap. Rinse properly and wait
until completely dry before proceeding further.
• Connect the electrical plug to a wall socket with a regular upstream earth leakage
circuit breaker.
• Ensure that the cord does not come into contact with hot parts and that it is not
subjected to excessive bending or kinking.

USING THE APPLIANCE
Once assembled as described in chapters 3 and 4, the appliance is immediately
operational. Follow the steps below to make popcorn.
11) Orient the scoop so that the concave part is facing upwards, so that the handle
protrudes at the front.
12) Place a generously sized container in front of the machine, in the direction of the
orientation of the ejection mouth.
13) Pour popping corn into the scoop until it is slightly filled below the rim: do not insert
any other type of food (e.g. salt, butter, cocoa, etc.).
14) Turn the scoop gently with the handle towards the back, so that it is completely
upside down.
15) Hold the scoop in place to ensure a "domed" lid closure.
16) Start cooking by turning the on switch to position "1".
17) Wait for the cooked popcorn to be ejected from the front mouth; the first "pops"
occur after about 1:30 minutes of operation.
18) Preparation is usually complete when more than 10 seconds elapse between two
successive "pops"; corn that has not expanded is usually considered waste since
further heating would give rise to a preparation with a bitter taste and poor
organoleptic properties. A small amount of waste is normal with each popcorn
preparation.
19) Preparation is in any case complete 5 minutes after starting the appliance.
20) At the end of the preparation, turn off the appliance immediately, avoiding making
it work any further, especially if it is empty.
Some additional tips for optimal use of the appliance:
•
Some kernels may be too dry to expand into popcorn, also because they may
have been stored too long. In this case, a proportional amount of popcorn
could result in waste
•
Only use specific popping corn for preparation. The suitable quality is
normally indicated on the packaging.
