8.CARE AND MAINTENANCE
PRECAUTIONS PRIOR TO OPERATING AND MAINTENANCE
EN
Cleaning thoroughly after every use will guarantee perfect performance and longevity of the appliance. It is fundamental to
treat the plancha barbecue and its accessories properly as they have been manufactured with best quality materials, which can
be well maintained with products that are easily available.
There are two cleaning methods: firstly, a daily or partial one, and secondly, a total or weekly cleaning procedure. It is not ne-
cessary to use abrasive agents for either of those as there are many products readily available that dissolve grease and residues
without damaging the appliance. NEVER use a high-pressure cleaner. Our plancha appliances are made so that they can be
easily dismantled thus providing for easy storage and cleaning.
BURNERS
At least once a week take off the plancha griddle. This gives way to the burners located underneath. Brush off any residues
on top of the burners that may obstruct the gas exits. Once assured that the burners have been cleaned correctly, return the
griddle to its initial position.
Also make sure that the venturi nozzles are completely clean and that the air inlets and gas exits are in perfect condition.
Clean its surfaces.
STAINLESS STEEL PARTS
The plancha body is made of stainless steel, which is of highest quality and longevity. Using a respective cleaner regularly will
guarantee that it stays in perfect condition.
Always turn off the gas for maintenance, cleaning, or when repairing.
Any modification, elimination, or failure to do maintenance on no matter which part increases the risk of
accidents. We recommend regular inspections.
The manufacturer is not responsible for any damage resulting from operating an appliance with parts that
have been modified, eliminated, or failed to maintain without the manufacturer's previous and explicit
agreement.
The user MUST NOT interfere with parts that have been adjusted by the manufacturer and his agent.
