7 Operation
7.1 Cleaning the air-conditioning unit

NOTICE! Damage hazard
If the temperature in the vehicle exceeds 60 °C, switch on the air-
conditioning unit before the cleaning procedure and cool down the
interior to below 60 °C.

NOTE
 Only use Dometic WAECO's air-conditioning cleaning agents.
 Observe the safety instructions on the packaging of the air-
conditioning cleaning agent.
 Check whether the pollen filter is contaminated and replace it
if necessary.
Preparing the Refresh-o-mat
1. Connect the Refresh-o-mat to the power supply (fig. 4, page 3).
2. Shake the air-conditioning cleaning agent thoroughly.
3. Open the lid and fill the Refresh-o-mat with cleaning agent up to the
maximum filling level indicator (fig. 5, page 4).
4. Close the door.
5. Plug in the hose completely (fig. 6, page 4).
Setting up the Refresh-o-mat
1. Place the Refresh-o-mat upright and securely in the foot area of the
passenger's seat (fig. 7, page 4).
2. Place the hose in the vicinity of the suction opening of the ventilation
system.
Setting the air-conditioning system
1. Set the air-conditioning system (fig. 8, page 4):
– Set the temperature control to the lowest level (1).
– Set the blower to the lowest level (2).
– Set the front ventilation (3) and open all air outlets on the dashboard
and position upwards.
– Set to ventilation (4).
