8. INSTALLATION
IMPORTANT
1. Mounting the machine
• Remove the product of the package;
• Verify if the product does not present problems due to transportation and if it is in operating conditions. If
necessary, contact the nearest Schulz Authorized Dealer.
- Use the parts that come with the product to assemble the base structure of the product.
To assemble the base and the table, use the components present in the product, as shown in tables 1 and 2.
• Position the saw with the table facing down (1) to facilitate the alignment of the table extension (2), use the
Phillips screw (a), flat washer (c), spring washer (d) and nut (e ) to fix the table extension (2) on the tool table (1),
as shown in table 3.
• Still keeping the saw with the table facing down, position the feet (13) in the position indicated in table 4,
position the support arms (17) connecting the base of the saw to the table extension (2), to carry out the fixation
length of the mentioned components, use the Phillips screw (a), flat washer (c), spring washer (d) and nut (e), as
shown in table 4.
• Position the connecting rods (14a and 14b) at the feet of the table (13), positioning the rods 14a at the front
and rear and positioning the rods 14b on the sides, securing them with the square neck screw (b), flat washer (c),
spring washer (d) and nut (e), as shown in table 5.
• To fix the anti-tipping support (16) attach it to the base feet (13) fixing them with the square neck screw (b), flat
washer (c), spring washer (d) and nut (e) , as shown in Table 6.
• To install the saw guard, raise the saw to its maximum height, fit the guard (3) with its nut and locknut (18)
onto the guide rod of the saw, press the nut and locknut (18) to maintain the saw guard as indicated in table 7.
• To adjust the height of the saw guide rod (21), remove the plastic protection (20) by removing the screw (19),
shown in table 7, loosen the nut (22) with a spanner (g), adjust the rod to be positioned between 3 and 5 mm
from the saw, tighten the nut (22) again, place the plastic protection (20) and its screw (19), process illustrated
by tables 7, 8 and 9.
• Use a vacuum cleaner to suck up the sawdust generated by cutting the wood, connecting it to the outlet (24),
shown in table 10.
2. Blade height and angle adjustment
• The height of the blade in relation to the bench is adjusted with the knob (8), rotating it clockwise, the saw
blade goes up, rotating it counterclockwise, the blade goes down.
• To adjust the blade angle, loosen the locking screw on the scale (10), press the handle wheel (8) on the
angular scale, rotate clockwise and counterclockwise to adjust the angle, tighten the locking screw to keep
the blade at the desired angle.
Always check that the power supply corresponds to the voltage on the rating plate.
