Stop the motor and wait until the cutting
device has come to a complete stop:
•
before tilting the unit;
•
for transport over areas that are not
grassed;
Stop the engine, to avoid inadvertent engine
start, remove ignition key (if present), let the
engine cool down and disconnect the spark
plug from the terminal
•
before clearing clogs and blockages;
•
before checking, cleaning or adjusting
the lawnmower or before working on the unit;

immediately.
Never lift or transport an appliance with the
engine running.
Examine the ground on which you are going
to use the equipment and remove all objects
that can be picked up and thrown away.
If the cutting tool encounters a foreign body
(e.g. a stone) or when the unit starts to vibrate
unusually: Switch off the engine immediately.
Check the appliance for damage and in the
event of damage consult a specialist
workshop.
If the lawnmower has a mowing device, never
place it in front of the grass ejection
apertures.
Mower with grass catcher:
When removing the grass catcher, the user
may be injured by the cut grass or foreign
objects. Never empty the grass catcher while
the engine is running. Switch off the
appliance.
Danger of explosion and fire
Gasoline vapors are explosive and gasoline
itself is highly flammable.
Fill the fuel tank before starting the engine.
Keep the tank closed during engine operation
and while the engine is hot.
If fuel has been spilled, do not start the
engine. Move the unit away from the surface
soiled by fuel and wait until the gasoline
vapors have dissipated.
To avoid a fire hazard, avoid flames and
sparks, do not smoke, and keep the following
components clean of grass or spilled oil:

After use
Wait until all moving components have come
to a complete stop and the engine has cooled
down. Close the gasoline tap (if present - see
engine manual).
Disconnect the spark plug terminal. Empty
the grass collector.
05. When moving the equipment
Check
it
Certain objects can be picked up by the
rotating cutting device and thrown violently,
and can therefore cause damage. When
moving the unit over non-grassed surfaces,
switch off the engine first.
Danger to the environment from spilled
fuel.
Do not transport the appliance on an inclined
position. When transporting the unit in or on a
