OPERATION
Note for eyeglass wearers
If you wear glasses, please keep them on while using the night vision binocular to ensure
best image results.
07.1 Operation by daylight
For daylight use, make sure the protection
cover (8) is placed onto the lens (9).
07.2 Operation in dark/by night
For using in the darkness, remove the pro-
tection cover (8) from the lens (9).
Note
If you forget to put on the protection cover at daylight, it won't harm your eyes or damage
the lens. But it will a ect the quality of image.
07.3 Turning On
To turn on the night vision binocular press the On/O button (1).
The display (10) shows "WELCOME" fi rst and then switches to a coloured live view.
07.4 Focusing
To adjust the focus, turn the focusing
wheel (12) to the left or to the right until the
live view in the display (10) is sharp.
07.5 Digital Zoom
To zoom-in the live view, press the zoom button (2). In the right bottom of display the
symbol
appears and indicates the minimum zoom factor of 1,07. By repeatedly
pressing the zoom button (2), the live view can be magnifi ed in steps up to 2 times.
To return to the 1: 1 image, press the zoom button (2) repeatedly until the symbol in the
display disappears.
07.6 7-stage infrared illumination/Adjust brightness (when using in the dark)
When using in the dark, remove the protection cover (8) from the lens (9). Press the IR
button (4) once, to switch on the infrared illumination. The symbol
left of the display (10) and you will see a black and white live view.
To increase brightness of live view, press the IR button (4) up to 6 times until desired
brightness is achieved.
When maximum brightness is adjusted the display shows
To turn the infrared illumination o , press the IR button (4) repeatedly until the symbol in
the display disappears.
07.7 Battery Indicator
Press the On/O button (1) to turn on the night vision binocular. In the right bottom of
display the battery indicator symbol
07.8 Taking Pictures
1. Turn on the night vision binocular. The night vision binocular is automatically in photo
mode. The display (10) shows the following symbols:

2. Adjust the focus with the focusing wheel (12). At night, switch on the infrared illumi-
nation (see chapter 07.6).
3. Press the shutter button (5) to take a picture.
07.9 Video recording
1. Turn on the night vision binocular. The night vision binocular is automatically in photo
mode. To switch to video mode, press the mode button (3) once. The display (10) shows
the following symbols:

2. Adjust the focus with the focusing wheel (12). At night, switch on the infrared illumi-
nation (see chapter 07.6).
3. Press the shutter button (5) to start the video recording. While recording a red dot
will flash in the top centre of display. In the right top of display you can see the video
duration.
4. To stop the video recording, press the shutter button (5) again.
07.10 Playback
1. Press the mode button (3) until the symbol
2. The display shows the last file saved. If it is a photo, the display indicates "JPG" in the
left bottom. If it is a video, the display indicates "AVI".
3. Press the zoom button (2) to go to the next file. Press the IR button (4) to go back to
the previous file.
4. To play a video or to delete files, press the shutter button (5) once while in playback
mode.
5. The display shows various menu options:
Play
Plays the video
Deletes the selected fi le
Delete
Delete All
Deletes all fi les on memory card
Back to the last saved fi le
Exit
To browse through the menu options, press the IR button (4) to go to the next menu option
or the zoom button (2) to go back to previous menu option. The selected menu option
is highlighted in yellow. To enter the selected menu option press the shutter button (5).

After use please turn o the night vision binocular by pressing the On/O button (1) for
about 2 seconds.

MENU SETTINGS
To change the pre-settings of the night vision binocular, press the mode button (3) until
the display shows the symbol
To browse through the menu options, press the IR button (4) to go to the next menu option
or the zoom button (2) to go back to previous menu option. The selected menu option is
highlighted in yellow. To enter the menu settings press the shutter button (5):
