INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
BEFORE USE:
- Remove the appliance's protective film.
- Make sure that all the product's packaging has
been removed.
- Ensure that the voltage indicated on the
rating label matches the mains voltage before
plugging in the appliance.
- Always be sure that the tool is switched off
before carrying out any work on the tool.
FITTING THE ACCESSORIES
- Ensure the appliance is switched off before
undertaking any operation.
Placing the cutting guide
- Unscrew the guide screws and place the guide
on the holes.
- Tighten the screw at the distance you want to
perform.
Mounting the blade
- Disconect the battery pack from the product
- Pull the lever of quick-change chuck.
- Slide the saw blade into the socket locating the
teeth of the blade on forward. Make sure it stays
tightened and press it.
- To check if it's okay, try to pull the blade, if you
can't, accessory is properly fitted.
Cutting angle setting (FIG. 3)
- Loosen the set off screws (N) using the Allen
wrench
- Tilt the shoe (H) to the required miter angle. (0-
45º left or right).
- Tighten the set of screws (N) firmly.
Front flush cuts (FIG 4)
- Loosen the set off screws (N) using the Allen
wrench.
- Slide the shoe (H) all the way back.
- Tighten the set of screws (N) firmly.
Curved cuts
- For sawing on a curve, use the special "curved
cut" blade, which is thin enough to saw along a
curve.
DUST COLLECTION SYSTEM:
- You can use the dust collection system fitted in
the appliance.
- Place the blower selector to the front (blower) if
you need the appliance to blow aire in order to
clearly see what you are cutting
- Place the blower selector to the back AND
attach a vacuum cleaner to the Dust extraction
port in order to absorbe the dust and sawdust
generated.
CUTTING ANGLE SETTING
- It can cut vertically and with an inclination of up
to 45º. The angle is adjusted by loosening the
wing nut (N) and matching the angle to the one
printed on the base (H).
- Adjusting the pendulum regulation selector
- This appliance is equipped with four cutting
actions. Straight one (0) should be used to cut
hard maaterials and also to cut soft materials
with a soft finishing. The other three settings are
different pendular movements that will generate
a more aggressive cut to improve performance
cutting plastic or wood but with a rougher cut.
USE:
- After performing the setup of the jig saw, place
the battery into the socket.
- ATTENTION: Never use a blade unsuitable for
the material you want to cut.
- Hold the saw in front of you with a firm grip on
the handle.
- Ensure that the saw blade is not touching the
surface you want to cut when it starts working.
- Make sure the item you want to cut is properly
fixed and clamped.
- Use the dust extraction system when possible.
- Press the safety lock to either side and press
gently the on/off switch. The blade will start its
movement.
- Do not place more pressure to the blade than is
necessary.
- Avoid any lateral movement, the appliance is
design to cut only for the fromntal side of the
saw blade.
LIGHT FUNCTION:
- The appliance includes a light function,
which illuminates the working area under the
appliance.
- Do njot stare to the light directly.
ONCE YOU HAVE FINISHED USING THE
APPLIANCE:
- Switch off the appliance by releasing the on/off
switch.
- Remove the battery.
- Clean the appliance.
