Alphanumeric keys

Using these keys you can type in the informati on or your selecti ons.

In TX mode, press the desired key to send the DTMF code

corresponding

Basic Operati ons:

Power / volume butt on

Turn the Power/volume butt on clockwise to turn on the device and

anti -clockwise to turn it off . Also turn the knob to adjust the volume to the desired

level.

Transmission and recepti on

Press the PTT butt on to transmit, speak in the directi on of the microphone. The dis-

play and the LED will light up red. Release the PTT and the radio returns to receive

mode. The display and the LED light up green.

CALL butt on

Press briefl y to switch the FM radio on or off .

Press and hold this butt on to acti vate or deacti vate the alarm functi on.

Monitor butt on

Briefl y press the MON side butt on to turn on the fl ashlight.

Pressing it again will cause the fl ashlight to fl ash stroboscopically.

Press MON for the third ti me to turn it off .

The Monitor functi on is acti vated by keeping the butt on pressed.

Scan functi on

Briefl y press the SCAN key to acti vate the Reverse functi on RX/TX. Press SCAN for

more than 2 seconds: scanning will be acti vated channel or frequency.

In FM radio mode, press this butt on to automati cally search for the

FM stati ons. In CTCSS/DCS mode, this butt on allows you to scan CTCSS/DCS tones.

, select the high or low transmission power.

Pressing this butt on for more than 2 acti vates or deacti vates the keyboard lock.

Menu setti ngs

The various functi ons and setti ngs are acti vated as follows:

Press the MENU butt on

Select the desired menu using the

Press MENU to enter the functi on and to change the setti ng use the

keys.

Confi rm your selecti on by pressing MENU again or exit the setti ng using the

EXIT butt on.

Note1: in channel mode, setti ng of the following functi ons is not possible: CTCSS/

DCS tones, bandwidth, PTT-ID, busy channel lock, channel name entry.

Note2: The high / low power can be changed by pressing the rapid key #
