SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
The solar-powered welding helmet with automatic dimming is suitable for most welding tasks.
Thanks to a switching time of 0.1-1 seconds, the lens of this helmet darkens automatically as soon
as welding is started. Independently of the colour tone to which the filter is set, the UV/IR
protection is always safeguarded. ARC rays may damage the eyes and burn the skin.
• Always check the helmet and the automatic anti-glare cassettes (Auto Darkening Filter or ADF)
to ensure that they have been attached properly and in good condition prior to welding.
• Keep the sensors, the solar cells and the filter lens clean. Clean the filter cartridge with a soapy
water solution and a soft cloth. Do not use solvents or weld in the overhead position while
wearing this helmet.
• Check the filter lens on a regular basis and immediately replace all scratched, cracked or
corroded filter or cover glasses. Always wear safety goggles beneath the welding helmet and
protective clothing to protect your skin from radiation, burns and splashes.
• Do not allow any moisture to enter the device, in order to protect it from damage.
• Do not expose the device to direct sunlight.
• Use symmetrical force to adjust the electrograph. Do not turn using force.
• Test the batteries before use. If the battery no longer has sufficient charge, it is not guaranteed
that the helmet can switch.
