Double coffee:
To extract a short double coffee or a long double coffee, press the double coffee icon and then press the short coffee or long
coffee icon as desired;
The extraction time of a double coffee is always twice the time of a normal coffee (short or long). During the extraction of a
double coffee, the double coffee light and the short or long light flash simultaneously;
Once serving has finished, wait a few seconds and remove the cups with the coffee;
Remove the filter holder and remove the puck;
Wash the filter holder with running water and dry it well;
Check that the removable filter is perfectly fitted into the filter holder;
Fit the filter holder in the appliance once more.
Changing preset brew times:
Press the corresponding button (short or long) for more than 5 sec and keep it pressed;
Meanwhile, coffee is exiting until you stop pressing;
When you stop, the coffee outlet time will remain programmed for subsequent brews;
Every time you repeat this operation, machine will memorize that quantity;
The amount of coffee needed for short or long coffee may vary from brew to brew, depending on the type of coffee used and
how tight it is tampered;
Nevertheless, the programmed brewing times will remain constant.
Temperature settings:
Standard Temperature:
Coffee short light ON, light steady ON
Light fixed, temperature ON
Standard Temperature -1ºC:
Short coffee light flashes slow, light steady steam ON
Light fixed, temperature ON
Standard Temperature -2ºC:
Short coffee light blinks fast, light steady steam ON
Light fixed, temperature ON
Standard Temperature +1ºC:
Short coffee light ON, steam light flashes slow
Light fixed, temperature ON
Standard Temperature +2ºC:
Short coffee light ON, steam light blinks fast
Light fixed, temperature ON
If the temperature button is pressed and after 3 sec the short coffee or steam button is not pressed to start the temperature
setting, the temperature, the short coffee and the steam light are off, indicating the cancellation of temperature setting.
Porta-filter removal:
After having brewed coffee, wait 10 to 15 seconds before removing the porta-filter;
To make more Espresso or to remove the filter-holder, move handle to the left. Be careful, as hot water will be on top of the
ground coffee|coffee pod in the holder;
Knock out used coffee grinds or coffee pod from filter;
After Espresso preparation, rinse both the filter-holder and the used Cremaker filter.
For more Espresso, repeat the above steps.
Notes:
If you have just used ground coffee and want to use a coffee pod just after, simply press the coffee button of your machine,
and let the water clean the remaining powder;
With the coffee pod, you can prepare only one Espresso at a time!
