Each person entering the work area must wear personal
protective equipment. Fragments may be thrown out while
using the mixer and cause injury outside the direct work
area.
Clothing worn during operation must be adequate, tight
and closed, for example, a work boiler suit. Do not wear
loose clothing or jewelry. Keep hair, clothing and gloves
away from rotating parts.
The following precautions and procedures should also be
followed to avoid accidents:
▪ When operating the paddle mixer, adopt a stable
position and always keep your balance. Hold the
appliance firmly to ensure continuous operation and
withstand unexpected situations, such as kickback;
▪ The kickback is a sudden reaction that happens when
the power tool is switched on and the mixing paddle gets
jammed. The mixing paddle kickback forces the power
tool to rotate in the opposite direction to the rotation of
the mixing paddle;
▪ The kickback occurs due to an incorrect use of the power
tool or due to an improper working procedure which can
cause serious injuries to the user. Loss of control can
result in serious injury. To avoid the kickback, the
following precautions must be considered:
- Fit the mixing paddle in the correct position and keep
it securely locked in place;
- Do not position your body in the area where power tool
will move if kickback occurs;
▪ Never put your hands near the mixing paddle. Keep your
hands away from the rotating parts;
▪ When the mixing paddle gets jammed, switch off the
power tool immediately. If you lose control of the
machine, unplug the power cord;
▪ To avoid displacement or projection of the bucket in
which the mixture is being performed, keep the bucket
resting on a solid and fixed base;
▪ The fixing thread of the mixing paddle must be
compatible (type and size) with the rotation spindle
thread. Incorrectly
adequately secured and controlled;
sized accessories cannot be
▪ Never put the paddle mixer down before the mixing
paddle has come to a complete stop. The paddle may
come into contact with the resting surface, resulting in a
loss of control over the power tool;
▪ Make sure that the ventilation slots are not clogged. Do
not place any objects over the slots;
▪ Always keep handles clean, dry and free from oil and
grease.
When operating the machine, plan pauses and avoid
operating it for long periods of time. Permanent vibrations
are harmful to health.
Operating the power tool causes high load of vibrations
which can cause damage to the circulatory and nervous
systems, especially in people with circulatory problems.
Seek medical attention if symptoms occur that may be
caused by vibrations. These symptoms, which occur mainly
in the fingers, hands or wrists, include, for example, loss of
sensation, pain, muscle weakness, discoloration of the skin
or unpleasant tingling.
Before performing cleaning, adjusting, repairing and
maintenance tasks, always unplug the power cord.
Replace worn out or damaged parts immediately, so that
the power tool is always in a safe operating condition.
Cleaning:
The power tool must be thoroughly cleaned in its entirety
after use.
Do not use aggressive cleaning products. These products
may damage plastics and metals, compromising the safe
operation of the power tool.
Maintenance:
Only maintenance works described in this instruction
manual may be carried out, all other works must be
performed by an official dealer.
Keep all nuts and bolts tight so the power tool is in safe
working condition.
