2. Once defrosting is complete, clean your freezer as
described above.
CAUTION:
Do not use sharp objects to remove frost from the freezer
compartment. Only after the interior is dry should the
appliance be switched on again and plugged into the
main socket.
Cleaning the door seals
Make sure the door seals are kept clean. Sticky foods and
drinks may adhere the seals to the cabinet and tear them
when the door is opened. Wash the seals with mild detergent
and hot water. Rinse and dry them thoroughly after cleaning.
CAUTION:
The appliance may only be switched on after the door
seals are completely dry.

Troubleshooting
If you have a problem with your appliance or are concerned that the appliance is not working
properly, there are some simple checks you can do before calling customer service, see below.

Never try to repair the appliance yourself. If the problem
persists after you have performed the checks listed below,
contact a qualified electrician, authorised service technician
or the store where you purchased the product.

Check the fuse or circuit of your power supply and replace it if necessary.

It is normal for the freezer not to operate during the defrost cycle, or for a
short time after the appliance is switched on to protect the compressor.

Certain foods, containers or packages may cause odours.
The sounds below are relatively normal:
• Compressor running noises.
• Air movement noises from the small fan motor in the freezer
compartment or other compartments.
• Gurgling sound similar to boiling water.
• Bursting noise during the automatic defrost cycle.
