ChaRGE / DISChaRGE PROCESS WIth a BID ChIP / kEy
First connect the BID chip / KEY to the charger, either directly or using the adapter lead,
then press the "EDIT / ENTER" button. The display shown below is now shown automa-
tically.
From this point on, the procedure is identical to that used for a manual start. This proce-
dure is described in Section 6.3.
The most important data are stored on the chip / key during the charge or discharge pro-
cess.

END Of a ChaRGE / DISChaRGE PROCESS
The charger automatically terminates a charge or discharge operation precisely at the cor-
rect time. The processor takes the charge parameters into account. The optimum process
is employed for each type of battery.
8.1
DISPLayING thE ChaRGE / DISChaRGE Data
During a charge or discharge process, the values for that process are constantly shown in
the working display (see Chapter 5.1).
If the process is completed successfully, you will hear an audible signal, and the screen
displays "CHARGED", "DISCHARGED" etc. The screen also displays the essential data,
as shown in the illustration below.
