8.1 INSERTING BATTERIES

Small parts that can be swallowed. Keep children away
while inserting the batteries.

Use only batteries of the same type. When replacing dead
batteries, remove all old batteries and replace them with
new ones. Do not mix old batteries with new batteries.

Battery acid burns. Wear protective gloves when
removing leaking batteries from the device. Then clean
the contacts on the device with a soft cloth.

Make sure that the on/off switch (4) is in the "O" position.

To insert the batteries, remove the four screws on the back of the
device with a screwdriver (size PH1) and remove the battery cover.
3.
Insert the batteries into the device according to the polarity.
WA R N I N G
Pay attention to the correct polarity of the batteries to
avoid battery leakage or explosion and possible damage
to persons or the device.
4.
Put the battery cover back on the device and screw the four
previously removed screws back in. Tighten the screw hand-tight.
The device is ready for operation.

When the power of the batteries used decreases, the ultrasonic
sounds are also no longer emitted precisely enough. Make sure
that the batteries used are fully charged.
8.2 USING MAINS ADAPTER
N OT I C E
When using a power supply unit, observe the information in
the technical data for this unit.
To use a mains adapter, open the moisture seal on the bottom of the
device and insert the adapter pin into the connector (6).
WARNING AGAINST ELECTRICAL VOLTAGES
Use only properly installed sockets for the power supply.
