10 Troubleshooting
If a repair is not done properly, there is a risk of injury

Improper repair or modifications to the cylinder may
result in the risk of injury or damage.

Loosen the cushioning
screws.
Otherwise, check the
seal.
Check the seal and
sealing strip.
Replace if necessary.

Adjust the cushioning
as described in section
"Setting the speed and
cushioning".
Check the applied
pressure and ensure
that the conditions are
constant.
Clean and lubricate the
cylinder. Check the oil
content of the
compressed air.
Replace the piston
seals and lubricate the
cylinder.
Ensure that the
maximum permitted
lever length has not
been exceeded.
