CANDY ELECTRONIC WITHOUT WI-
FI
This specification concerns the function of the
electronic display for wine cellars. The image
below shows the Candy version of the user
interface.
The user interface is formed by:
- 4 buttons (On/Off, Programmes,
Temperature °C and one side mechanical
switch).
- 1 white digital LCD
- 4 white LEDs
Function
- On/Off: the appliance can be switched on or
off with the "On/Off" button. Every time the
appliance is switched on, the internal light will
switch on as well. After 15 seconds, if the
"light" button is set on off, the light will switch
off, if it is set on, the light will stay on. At each
switching on, the last set programme and
temperature will be restored. At the first start-
up, the wine cellar will be set on "Red Wine"
with a preset temperature of 16°C.
- Programme: to select the cellar programme,
press the programme button until reaching the
required programme. Sequentially, the
programmes that can be selected are: "Red
Wine", "White Wine", "Champagne", "Mix".
The LED corresponding to the programme will
switch on at each programme change and the
display will show the preset temperature (if
the programme was selected for the first time)
or the temperature set by the user (see table

the release of the button.

temperature change will start 5 seconds after
the release of the button.

Shelves
Shelf is chrome plated or wooden wine rack.
To accommodate different size bottles, they
can be moved up or down by sliding them out
the tracks first. Shelves are designed to
accommodate maximum amount of bottles.
Wine Rack
There is an additional wine rack at bottom
section of the unit where you can store up to 6
wine bottles. This rack is removable for
cleaning purpose.
There is a 4 to 6 C variance between the top
and bottom shelves of the wine chiller.
Therefore, If you have set the wine chiller for
red wine only and you want to place a mix of
white and red wines, you should place the
white wine bottles on the bottom shelves and
the red wines on the top shelves.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Cleaning Your Wine Cooler
• Unplug the wine cooler and remove the
bottles.
• Wash the inside with a warm water and
baking soda solution. The solution should be
about 2 tablespoons of baking soda to a liter
of water.
• Wash the shelves and trays with a mild
detergent solution.
• The outside of the wine cooler should be
cleaned with mild detergent and warm
water.
• It may also be necessary to periodically wipe
the bottom part of the storage area, as the
wine cooler is designed to retain humidity,
and condensation may collect there.
