3. Use

3.1. Charging the battery

It is essential to charge the battery for about 2 hours before using the clippers
for the first time. Charge the clippers at least once during the year following
the date of delivery. The battery reaches its full capacity after 3 or 4 charging
cycles.
USE ONLY THE POWER PACK SUPPLIED, MODEL BI12TA-050200-AdV (Fig. 1-L).
When charging, it is advisable to switch the clippers off (On/Off button set
to 0, Fig. 1-B).
3.1.1. Charging the clippers from the mains supply
 Insert the electrical lead into the socket of the clippers (Fig. 3a).
 Connect the power pack (Fig. 1-L) to a mains power socket.
 During charging, the indicator light flashes.
 At the end of charging, the indicator light comes on steadily. Unplug the power
pack. The clippers can then be used without the electrical lead.
3.1.2. Charging the clippers on the charge stand
 Insert the electrical lead into the charge stand socket (Fig. 3b).
 Insert the power pack in a mains power socket.
 Put the clippers on the charge stand (Fig. 1-K).
 At the end of charging, the indicator light comes on steadily. The clippers can
then be used without the electrical lead.
