FAN FAULT/OVERTEMP ALARM OUTPUTS (For Optional Remote Monitoring): These normally open
dry contact closures will provide notification to an external (remote) monitoring system if there is a fan
fault or overtemp condition.

TEMPERATURE PROBE: 9 foot temperature probe. Mount at the highest available location in the
enclosure away from direct air flow.

IUQFP-4RA-I/O INTAKE - EXHAUST SYSTEM
- The IUQFP-4RA-I/O system consists of a IUQFP-4RA and a IUQFP-4RIS.

EXHAUST CONNECTION PORT: RJ45 port. Connect this to the INTAKE CONTROL PORT on the
IUQFP-4RA provided with the IUQFP-4RA-I/O INTAKE - EXHAUST SYSTEM (connect to callout #5 on
the image from page 2). A 7 foot CAT5 cable is provided. (DO NOT CONNECT TO A LAN)
- The IUQFP-4RIS can also work in conjunction with a separately purchased IUQFP-4RX or
IUQFP-4DRX (connect to callout #5 on the image from page 2). (DO NOT CONNECT TO A LAN)
INSTALLATION
TIP: Ensure that you have access to the rear of the panel to make connections and configure settings
once mounted. If access to rear of unit is limited, cable management and setting configurations must be
done prior to mounting the panel.
1) For optimum performance install the exhaust unit in the uppermost rackspaces of the enclosure, and
install the intake unit in the lowermost rackspaces of the enclosure.
2) Mount the temperature probe at the highest available location in the enclosure away from direct air flow.
3) Select the appropriate wall plug adapter supplied with the power supply for your region, and install into
the power supply. Connect power supply to power source.
NOTE: To remove a wall plug adapter, press tab labeled PUSH while simultaneously turning plug
counterclockwise and lift out. To install a wall plug adapter, properly orient the wall plug adapter and
insert into the power supply, and turn plug slightly clockwise until a clicking sound is heard.
