Replacing the battery
When the battery symbol appears on the
display, the battery needs replacing.
Press the release button (4) and pull the
battery holder (7) out of the angle rule. See
fi gure B.
Remove the old battery. Ensure the used
battery is disposed of in accordance with
local rules and regulations. Insert a new 3
V CR2032 battery. Check that the battery
is correctly aligned. Re-insert the battery
holder.
Cleaning
Wipe the angle rule with a soft dry cloth after
each use.
Store the angle rule in a dry, cool and dust-
free place in the case provided.
Remove the battery from the battery holder
if you do not intend to use the angle rule for
a prolonged, period before putting it into
storage.
