This appliance is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry or similar locations which may be
exposed to water, moisture or humidity.
Always operate on a flat horizontal surface.
Switch off the appliance, then use handles (where provided) to change its position.
Do not operate with the cord coiled up as this could cause a build up of heat, which could pose
a hazard.
The use of an extension cord with this appliance is not recommended.
Do not remove the power plug from the socket by pulling the cord - grip the plug instead.
Always unplug appliance when not in use.
Do not allow cord to come in contact with heated surfaces during operation.
Do not run cord under carpeting, throw rugs or runners etc. Arrange cord away from areas

where it is likely to be tripped over.
Do not twist, kink or wrap the cord around the appliance, as this may cause the insulation to
weaken and split. Always ensure that the cord has been fully removed from any cord storage
area before use.
Do not store appliance in a box or closed space until it has cooled down sufficiently.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for
their safety.
Young children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
The appliance must not be located immediately below a socket-outlet.
Do not use this appliance with a programmer, timer or any other device that switches the heater
on automatically, since a fire risk exists if the appliance is covered or positioned incorrectly.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a qualified electrical person in order to
avoid a hazard.
Do not use this appliance outdoors, or on wet surfaces. Avoid spilling liquid on the appliance.
In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertent resetting of the thermal cutout, this appliance
must not be supplied through an external switching device, such as a timer, or connected to a
circuit that is regulariy switched on and off by the utility.
For additional protection, the use of a Residual Current Device (RCD) with a tripping current not
exceeding 30mA is recommended.
ASSEMBLY
1.
Assemble the body frame and the base plate together as follows.

Remove the mounting screws from the base.
3.
Insert the power cord through the slot placed in the middle of the base and then assemble
the body frame to the base plate.
4.
Secure the body frame to the base plate by means of the two mounting screws previously
removed. Insert the power cord through the suitable slots and then clamp shut.
OPERATION
1.
Place the product in an upright position on a flat, steady, stable, heat-resistant surface. Make
sure there is nothing flammable or heat sensitive nearby (within 1 metre all around).
