Note:
• Orientate the distal connector to the line of progression.
• For liners below size 22, replace the Large Square Ring with the
Large O-ring before you drape the material (Fig. 10a).
2. Select the applicable material depending on the expected stresses and
drape as usual (Fig. 4).
3. Tightly wind a strap into the groove of the Distal Connector during
draping. This will help the socket become airtight.
4. After fully hardening, grind and remove the material at the distal end
until completely exposing the head of the Central Screw (Fig. 5).
5. Remove the Central Screw.
6. Continue grinding, until fully exposing the Fixation Dummy.
7. Remove the Fixation Dummy and the Small Square Ring.
8. Grind carefully until the material is flush with the surface of the Distal
Connector (Fig. 6).
9. Put the Aluminum Dummy on the socket (Fig. 7a).
10. Align the four holes of the Aluminum Dummy with the four holes on
the Distal connector.
11. Secure the Aluminum Dummy with the Central screw.
12. Drill ø 6,5 mm holes through the four holes of the Aluminum Dummy,
until you reach the heads of the Set Screws.
13. Remove the Set Screws (Fig. 8a).
14. Remove the socket from the plaster.
15. Carefully push the Distal Connector out of the socket (Fig. 9a).
16. Replace the Large Square Ring with the Large O-ring (Fig. 10a).
17. Use a ø 10 mm drill to drill again into the ø 6,5 mm holes in the PETG
(Fig. 11a).
