Anschluss von zwei LNBs (64879, 64880, 64881 und 64884)
Siehe Fig. 3, Seite 2.
1. Schließen Sie den Erdungsanschluss (4) an.
2. Schließen Sie die Eingange zu den zwei LNBs (1) an.
Die Anschlüsse sind aufgeteilt in System A und System B. Orientieren Sie sich an Fig. 3, um die An-
schlüsse zuzuordnen.
3. Schließen Sie den Eingang zur terrestrischen Antenne (2) an.
4. Schließen Sie die Ausgänge zu den Receivern (3) an.
5. Versehen Sie nicht genutzte Ein- und Ausgänge mit 75 Ω Abschlusswiderständen.
6. Schließen Sie das Netzkabel an einer freien und gut zugänglichen Steckdose an.
Wenn der Multischalter mit Strom versorgt wird, leuchtet die LED-Anzeige (5) rot.
7. Richten Sie Ihre Antenne exakt aus.
Achten Sie darauf, dass die Eingangspegel der SAT-Ebenen möglichst gleich hoch sind.

Sachschäden
• Reinigen Sie das Produkt nur, wenn der Netzstecker gezogen ist.
• Prüfen Sie regelmäßig, ob die Lüftungsschlitze frei und sauber sind.
• Verwenden Sie zum Reinigen nur ein trockenes und weiches Tuch.
• Verwenden Sie keine Reinigungsmittel und Chemikalien.
• Lagern Sie das Produkt bei längerem Nichtgebrauch für Kinder und Tiere unzugänglich und in trocke-
ner und staubgeschützter Umgebung.
• Lagern Sie das Produkt kühl und trocken.
• Heben Sie die Originalverpackung für den Transport auf.

Safety instructions

Risk of electric shock
Working on the mains and improper installation can lead to serious injury or death.
• Installation, assembly, maintenance and repair work must be carried out only by trained electrical spe-
cialists.
• Never touch the device with wet or damp hands.
• Do not open the housing.
• Do not modify product and accessories.
• Do not short-circuit connectors and circuits.
• Do not insert objects into air vents or sockets!
• Mind the rules and regulations regarding grounding and potential bonding (EN 50083-1,
EN 60728-11). Protect the installation in accordance with the regulations.
• Mind the appropriate European rules and regional terms for electrical safety!
Notes for network separation
The product has no power switch and may be used only in easily accessible outlets to quickly remove it
in an emergency and after use.

• Work on the product may only be carried out when the mains plug is disconnected.
• Do not use the product if the mains cable is damaged.
• In case of emergency, after use and during a thunderstorm, pull the mains plug out of the socket di-
rectly at the plug housing.

Risk of injury by stumbling and falling
• Route the cable safely.
• Install the system and devices attached to it in a way that persons cannot be injured, or objects not be
damaged for example by dropping or stumbling.
Operating conditions
• Make sure that the mounting location is protected from moisture and splash water.
• Do not install or operate the unit in the immediate vicinity of heat sources.
• Observe the national licensing regulations for broadcast receiving equipment.
A defective device may not be put into operation, but must be disconnected from mains and protected
against further use.
• Use product, product parts and accessories only in perfect condition.
• Do not operate the product in environments with flammable gases, vapours or dust.
• Avoid stresses such as heat and cold, moisture and direct sunlight, microwaves, vibrations and me-
chanical pressure.
• In case of questions, defects, mechanical damage, trouble and other problems, non-recoverable by
the documentation, contact your dealer or producer.
• Do not place any open fire sources (e.g. candles) near the appliance.
• Observe the safety instructions of the manufacturers for the devices to be connected.
Heat accumulation
• Make sure that the air supply is not obstructed and that the ventilation slots are not covered at any time.
• Keep a minimum distance of 20 cm in all directions around the product to ensure good ventilation.

Description and function
2.1
Product
The product is a multi-switch with integrated 230 V power supply and is used to distribute the signals of
your satellite reception system to several end devices. Items 64874, 64875 and 64876 are suitable for
connecting a single LNB. Items 64879, 64880, 64881 and 64884 are suitable for connecting up to 2x
LNBs simultaneously.
The multi-switch supports HDTV, 3D, HD, 4K, 8K UHD and Sky and has 1x terrestrial input for antennas
(DAB, DAB+, FM, FM, DVB-T and DVB-T2). It also has an integrated 22 kHz generator and is suitable for
both Quattro LNB and Quad LNB.

Intended use
The product is intended exclusively for use in satellite and terrestrial reception systems. The
product may only be installed, serviced, repaired and commissioned by trained specialist
personnel.
We do not permit using the device in other ways like described in chapter „Description and Function" or in
the „Safety Instructions". Use the product only in dry interior rooms. Not attending to these regulations
and safety instructions might cause fatal accidents, injuries, and damages to persons and property.

Preparation
1. Check the scope of delivery for completeness and integrity.
2. Compare the specifications of product, power supply and peripherals.
These must be identical.

Installation
NOTICE!
Material damage
• Check the installation for possible short circuits of the coaxial cables before commissioning.
• Mount the product on a level, stable, dust-free and flame-resistant surface.
• Secure the multiswitch using suitable mounting material via the mounting holes in the housing. The
multiswitch must not be suspended from the connected cables.
• Use a protective earth conductor with a diameter of at least 4 mm² to earth the multiswitch.
• Use coaxial cables with a shielding factor of min. 90 dB for the connection.

5.1
Connecting a Quattro LNB
A Quattro LNB has 4 different connections, each of which transmits only one level of the satellite.
The connections on the LNB and on the multi-switch are marked accordingly. The connections with the
same designation have to be connected to each other.
The following connections are available:
• H/H or High/H: horizontal polarisation, upper frequency range (high band); 17-18 V/22 kHz
• V/H or High/V: vertical polarisation, upper frequency range (high band); 13-14 V/22 kHz
• H/L or Low/H: horizontal polarisation, lower frequency range (low band); 17-18 V/0 kHz
• V/L or Low/V: vertical polarisation, lower frequency range (low band); 13-14 V/0 kHz
5.2
Connecting a single LNB (64874, 64875 and 64876)
See Fig. 2, page 2.
1. Connect the ground connection (4).
2. Connect the inputs to the LNBs (1).
3. Connect the input to the terrestrial antenna (2).
4. Connect the outputs to the receivers (3).
5. Provide unused inputs and outputs with 75 Ω terminating resistors.
6. Connect the mains cable to a free and easily accessible socket.
When the multiswitch is supplied with power, the LED indicator (5) lights up red.
7. Align your antenna exactly.
Make sure that the input levels of the SAT levels are as equal as possible.
5.3
Connecting two LNBs (64879, 64880, 64881 and 64884)
See Fig. 3, page 2.
1. Connect the ground connection (4).
2. Connect the inputs to the two LNBs (1).
The connections are divided into system A and system B. Use Fig. 3 as a guide to assign the con-
nections.
3. Connect the input to the terrestrial antenna (2).
4. Connect the outputs to the receivers (3).
5. Provide unused inputs and outputs with 75 Ω terminating resistors.
6. Connect the mains cable to a free and easily accessible socket.
When the multiswitch is supplied with power, the LED indicator (5) lights up red.
7. Align your antenna exactly.
Make sure that the input levels of the SAT levels are as equal as possible.

Maintenance, Care, Storage and Transportation
NOTICE!
Material damage
• Only clean the product when the mains plug is disconnected.
• Check regularly that the ventilation slots are free and clean.
• Only clean the product when it is disconnected from the power supply.
• Only use a dry and soft cloth for cleaning.
• Do not use detergents or chemicals.
• When not in use for a long time, store the product out of reach of children and animals and in a dry
and dust-protected environment.
• Store cool and dry.
• Keep and use the original packaging for transport.

Disposal instructions
According to the European WEEE directive, electrical and electronic equipment must not be
disposed with consumers waste. Its components must be recycled or disposed apart from each
other. Otherwise contaminative and hazardous substances can damage the health and pollute
the environment.
As a consumer, you are committed by law to dispose electrical and electronic devices to the
producer, the dealer, or public collecting points at the end of the devices lifetime for free. Particulars are
regulated in national right. The symbol on the product, in the user manual, or at the packaging alludes to
these terms. With this kind of waste separation, application, and waste disposal of used devices you
achieve an important share to environmental protection.
