Low voltage mode (24 V AC ~ 1000 V AC)
Suitable for testing low-voltage motors (<90 V), audio systems, arc welding
machines, underground mine lighting, cables with thick insulation layers, and other
weak electromagnetic AC signals.
High voltage mode (90 V AC ~ 1000 V AC)
For detecting urban electric supplies and three-phase systems, including power
distribution units, electrical panels, and electrical appliances.
SAFETY WARNING
1.
Please carefully read the warnings and operating instructions before use.
2.
Test the detector on a known live source within the rated AC voltage range
before use, max 1000 V AC.
3.
If the detector appears damaged or is not working properly, stop using it
immediately.
4.
Use caution when working with voltages above AC 30 V r.m.s, 42 V peak or DC
60 V. Such voltages pose a shock hazard.
5.
Voltage may be detected even if the acousto-optic alarm does not sound.
6.
The insulation type, wire thickness, distance from the voltage source, shielded
wire or presence of other wires, socket design, and other factors may adversely
affect the test result. If inconclusive, use other methods to verify the voltage.
7.
Do not assume the neutral or ground wire is safe to touch. Incorrect or poorly
connected circuits may cause wires to be charged.
