7.3. BLADE SHARPENING.
Sharpen the blade every 100 cuts maximum to ensure
proper cutting edge. A poor quality edge will imply
additional effort for the scissors and the cut will not be
clean, which can cause diseases in the area of the cut
of the plant.
The blade is sharpened with a
Corundum whetstone resting it
on the edge of the moving blade
and making outward movements.
Sharpens only on the outside of the
blade, never on the inside.
Remember that it is better to
sharpen a little many times than a
lot only once, so we recommend
that you sharpen the blade
costantly. The scissors will work
better, the cut will be of better quality and you will
have more performance on the job.
7.4 CHANGING THE BLADE
For the change of the blade we recommend that you
do it at your nearest technical service.
