1. SAFETY WARNINGS
ො This appliance is not intended for being used by children from 0 to 8 years old. This ap-
pliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety. Children should not play with the appliance. Clean-
ing and maintenance shall not be performed by children.
ො For additional protection, the installation of a residual current device (RCD) having a
rated residual operating current not exceeding 30mA is advisable in the electrical cir-
cuit. Ask your installer for advice.
ො If the power cord is damaged, in order to avoid risks, it should be replaced by the man-
ufacturer, maintenance department or similar sector professionals.
ො This appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate
remote-control system.
ො Only the appropriate connector must be used.
ො Do not use attachments not recommended or supplied for this product.
ො Disconnect the appliance from the power supply if it is left unattended and before as-
sembling, disassembling or cleaning.
ො Cooking appliances should be placed in a stable place with the handles positioned to
prevent spillage of hot liquids.
ො This appliance is intended for being used as a household appliance and similar uses
as small kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments; cottages; by
customers in hotels, motels and other residential environments; hostels type environ-
ments.
Specific Barbecue warnings:
ො Caution: do not, under any circumstances, cover the grill rack with aluminous foil, bar-
becue dishes or other items, as the resulting build-up of heat could cause irreparable
damage to the grill.
ො During operation, the barbecue must be placed on a level, heat-resistant surface, im-
pervious to splashes and stains. When grilling food with a high fat or moisture content,
splashes are not always avoidable.
ො When using the appliance, be careful not to position it next to a wall or corner, and
ensure that no inflammable materials are stored near it.
