Electric machines can release sparks that could ignite
the inflammable liquids, gases and powders.
When working on the street, road or areas close to
them please ensure that you do not blow material onto
the road or street.
The working area has a 15 metre radius around the
machine and should be considered a risk
area were nobody should enter whilst the
machine is working (security area). When
necessary, use rope or signals to mark the working
area.
Maintain children, other people and animals well clear
of the machine whilst working. Distractions can cause
the loss of control. Be vigilant and stop any children,
other people and animals coming into the working
area.
When work must be carried out by two or more people
at the same time make sure you can control and
see the other people so as to maintain an adequate
working distance between users to guarantee security.
Do not use this machine when there are other
unprotected persons in the work area. Other persons
must wear goggles, ear protectors and gloves at all
times.
Do not use this machine at night, with fog or with
reduced visibility that does not allow you to see the
working area.
Maintain the work area clean and work under well lit
conditions. Only use this machine in daylight or good
artificial
light. Untidy and dark working areas, cause accidents.
Check and remove all objects that may cause
damages to you or to your machine.
2.4. ELECTRICAL SECURITY
Connect this machine to alternate current 230v/50Hz.
Do not expose this machine to rain or humid
conditions. The water that enters the machine will
increase the risk of electric shock.
Never cut the cable. There is a risk of electric shock
and also of damaging the machine.
The electrical switch of this machine must coincide
with the mains switch. Do not modify the switch in
any way. If no parts have been modified and they fit
perfectly, there will be no electric shock accidents.
Avoid body contact with earthed surfaces such as
tubes, radiators, electric kitchens and refrigerators.
There is a higher electric shock possibility if your body
is earthed.
Do not touch cables and switches with wet hands.
Do not overstretch the cable. Do not use the cable
to transport the machine, lift the machine and to
unplug the machine. Maintain the cable far away
from heat sources, oil, sharp edges or other moving
parts. Damaged or tangled cables increase the risk of
electric shock.
Never use this machine if the cable or the plug are
damaged. Before connecting the machine check
that the cable and the plug are not damaged. If you
discover that either of these elements are damaged,
take your machine to your nearest after sales dealer.
Should the cable be damaged, unplug the machine
immediately. Damaged or tangled cables
increase the risk of electric shock.
Always carry the machine with the motor off, with
