extended position.
- Check for verticality and stability.
- The pulley is used to pass the winch cable through for the ascent or descent of
persons or materials.
- The anchorage ring is used for connection to fall arrest systems in accordance with
EN 363.
FOLDING THE TRIPOD :To fold the tripod for transport or storage, reverse the

bag.
MATERIAL : The tripod is made of aluminium.
LIMITATIONS OF USE
- The equipment must be individually attributed to one person.
- It is recommended that the anchorage point to which the fall arrest system will be
attached be above the user. The anchorage point must have a minimum static
strength of 12 kN and must conform to the requirements of EN 795.
- Personal protective equipment must not be used by persons whose state of health
may affect the safety of the user in normal use or in an emergency.
- Personal protective equipment must only be used by a person trained and
competent in its safe use.
ATTENTION
- A fall arrest harness is the only acceptable body restraint device that can be used in
a fall arrest system.
- The fall protection system must only be connected to harness attachment points
that are identified with a capital letter "A". The marking "A/2" indicates that two
connection points with the same marking must be connected at the same time. It is
forbidden to connect the protective system to a single connection point which is
marked "A/2".
- In the case of harnesses with a built-in belt, the connection to the equipment for
work in positioning must be made only to the side anchorage rings of the belt.
-Connection to the anchorage point and to other equipment must be made via
carabiners conforming to EN 362.
- Before each use, check the compatibility of the tripod with the other components of
the fall arrest system and that it complies with the standards in force: EN 361 for the
harness, EN 355, EN 353-1, EN 353-2, EN 360, for the connecting sub-assemblies
and EN 341 for the evacuation equipment.
- Before each use of the personal protective equipment, it must be carefully checked
to ensure that it is fit for use and functions correctly.
- During the pre-use check, all parts of the equipment must be carefully inspected for
signs of deterioration, excessive wear, corrosion, abrasions, UV degradation, cuts, and
inadequacies of use. Pay special attention to the legs, head, pins, rings, pulley, screws,
belt...
