Operation.
Insert the power plug into the socket.
To seal the bag, place it in the suction chamber (B) and close the lid by pressing it gently.
When the Seal (1) key is pressed, it will light up to indicate that the unit is operating.
After turning the unit off, open the lid by pressing the side key (E).
To vacuum-pack food, place the products in the bag, position the opening in the suction chamber (B) and close
the lid by pressing it gently.
Press the Vac Seal (2) key. The Seal key will light up automatically and carry out the sealing; when the process
is completed, the key will turn off.
To avoid excessive vacuum of delicate food, sealing can be anticipated by pressing the Seal key during suction.
ATTENTION: In this case, if the vacuum is too weak, the bag may not seal correctly.
Vacuum packing with containers.
If you want to use the appliance to preserve vacuum packed food in other containers, a rubber tube is supplied
which must be positioned on one end (larger inlet) in the suction nozzle and the other end in the plug (not
supplied) specifically for this type of operation.
Fill the container with the food leaving at least a centimetre between the food and the upper edge of the container.
If necessary, clean the edge and the seal of the container lid.
Once you have completed these preliminary actions, simply press the key (1) to start suction. Suction
automatically stops when the maximum vacuum is reached. To stop, use the same key on the command panel.
To facilitate the operation, ensure you have closed the lid on the container correctly. Mark the packaging date
on the container.
Useful suggestions.
Leave a sufficient length on the opening to seal so it can be easily inserted in the vacuum chamber.
Before proceeding, check the opening of the bag is not wet because it may be difficult to seal it hermetically.
The appliance does not completely replace refrigeration or freezing, perishable foods must still be refrigerated
or frozen.
Keep plastic bags flat, otherwise the seal may be less than optimal.
To avoid creases in the bag during suction, lay it in the suction chamber and keep it pressed until the appliance
starts to work.
Before sealing fruit and vegetables, leave them to cool for a few minutes.
You are advised to allow at least 40 seconds to pass before sealing.
Problem solving
If the appliance does not work:
Check if the power supply cable is connected to the current socket.
Check if the power supply cable is damaged.
Check if the electric socket works by connecting it to another device.
Ensure the stops are in the locked position.
check the bag is positioned correctly inside the vacuum chamber.
Wait for the appliance to cool for 40 seconds before re-using it.
Disconnect the plug from the socket and let the appliance cool down well before cleaning it.
In order to clean the appliance, use a soft or slight damp cloth.
Do not use very wet substances, liquids or cloths to prevent water from entering into the appliance and
irreparably damaging it.
Never use abrasive sponges.
Accurately avoid the substances used for cleaning ending up on the suction tube causing the suction pump to
break.
Avoid use of substances that can damage the gasket on the fixed lower bar.
Avoid use of liquid substances which can detach the resistor protection.
Do not force or pull, during cleaning, the silicone gasket on the mobile upper bar to avoid damaging or removing
it, even partially.
NEVER IMMERSE THE APPLIANCE INTO THE WATER.
